I have been playing music since I was a child and play many instruments. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA for a short time before eventually moving to the Nashville area. I started moving pianos in 1997 and began learning all about the inner workings of the piano. In 2002, I went into business for myself and Kevin Fell Piano Services was born as I became a Nashville piano tuner.
Since I became a Nashville piano tuner, I have constantly been researching and studying everything I can on or about the piano in order to make sure I am offering the best piano service available in Nashville. I am a member of the Piano Technicians Guild and attend many of their conferences to learn and stay up to date on all there is to know about piano tuning and piano technology.
A picture of me with Franz Mohr after spending an entire day with him describing how he tunes, regulates and voices pianos. Franz Mohr was chief concert technician at Steinway and Sons for over a quarter of a century. He tuned, regulated and voiced the pianos for Horowitz, Cliburn, Rubinstein and many others.
